Come out and ski with us! The powder
is FINE! Welcome to Cape Fear Ski and Outing Club!
We are a year-around outdoor activities and social club composed of singles,
couples, and families of all ages. We meet the first Tuesday of the month at O'Charley's on Vancampen Rd, 6:00. Visitors Welcome!
The Cape Fear Ski and Outing Club (CFSOC) is a nonprofit organization for anyone who enjoys skiing, boating, camping,
cycling, golfing, tennis, kayaking, volleyball and any other types of outdoor recreation. We welcome those who want to learn
new skills in a sport, or just want to eat and socialize with other Club Members in an enjoyable atmosphere. As a member,
you will receive a monthly newsletter announcing special events, outings and trips. BTW, we love to eat…did we mention
that yet?
Please contact any Board Member for membership information, advertising rates, event information or with
any ideas, comments, or questions. We hope you will consider joining us. The Cape Fear Ski and Outing Club is a member of
the Crescent Ski Council and the National Ski Council Federation.

Upcoming Events Pool Party and Cookout, August 14 Nothing says summer like a party by the pool with friends. Soft drinks and tea will be provided. Bring
a side dish or $5.00. The party will begin around 2:30 pm and by 4:30 we will fire up the grill with hamburgers and

Taste of Wilmington, August 26 Seafood, steaks and chops! Bar at 6:30,

Carolina Panthers
Game, September 26 Carolina Panthers play the Cincinnati Bengals. Game starts at 1:00 pm on this
Sunday in Charlotte, NC and a Charter bus will provided. Price includes tickets, transport, $100. Contact Dian at diannlong@hotmail.com.
Full Moon Kayak,
October 22 Starting Southport at the Adventure Company on Howe Street and includes a stop at the Provision Company for
dining. The trip includes all your equipment with the exception of a flashlight as well as a guide and costs $45.00, $30 if
